Friends of Haw River State Park is a volunteer organization that formed in response to a rezoning battle in 2007 to save our State Park.
Any one with an interest can be a Friend.
The Park Advisory Committee is appointed by the State Parks Division to provide input on park activities. The Friends and PAC work together for the betterment of HRSP.
